Beachbums Book Club

We are the beachbums of Sarasota, Florida. We are a group of 13 women, varying occupations (and very interesting), who have been meeting for the last 2 years. We meet twice a month at varying restaurants in the area, depending on our current books theme.
We started out 2 years ago when Oprah resurrected her book clubs, and were reading Oprah's picks but over the last year we have been picking our own books, of all genres. Most of our titles and authors that we read are recommended by our members.
Our ages range from 40 to 74. We currently have a members only Yahoo Group Board, where we post information, thoughts, chat about books; those we are reading or other books that may interest us as well as general information about the group.
We are currently reading your book, Teeth in a Pickle Jar and look forward to meeting you and having you join us in October.
